This is the most basic survival kit that I always have on me, as a keychain. It is a Leatherman multitool. The most used parts are the knife, pliers and screwdrivers. Occasionally, the scissors or the file come in handy.
This is used for short excursions, the waist pack contains some of the most basic items required to survive.
This kit includes all the essentials. When I go hunting or trapping, and I expect to go for the whole day, this pack comes with me.
